AquaGrade is based around testing water for TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). It is the mineral content of the water and is usually expressed in PPM (Parts Per Million). 0 PPM is pure, 200+ PPM is not considered good drinking water, and 500 PPM is the EPA Max Contaminant Level.

Most of the minerals in tap water are inorganic and cant be absorbed by the body. They can build up and lead to health problems, especially in children.
